These Taco Cups layer crisp wonton wrappers with seasoned taco meat, refried beans, and shredded cheese, finished with your favorite taco toppings. Think of them as a Mexican-style version of lasagna cupcakes.

Double Decker Taco Cupcakes
Wonton wrappers act like mini pasta squares, making them perfect for layering in a muffin tin. Each cup combines refried beans, seasoned beef, and cheese, with a crispy edge from the baked wontons. They’re portable, quick to prepare, and great for parties, weeknight dinners, or a fun appetizer.

INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray.
- In a skillet, brown 1 pound of ground beef and drain any excess fat. Add a 1.25-ounce package of taco seasoning and the amount of water instructed on the seasoning packet. Simmer 4–5 minutes until the flavors meld. Remove from heat and set aside.

- Place one wonton wrapper into the bottom of each prepared muffin cup. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of refried beans over the wrapper, then add 1 tablespoon of the seasoned taco meat and 1 tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese.
Top with another wonton wrapper and repeat the layers: refried beans, taco meat, and cheese. This double-layer gives the cupcakes structure and a satisfying bite.

- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the wonton edges are golden brown and the cheese is melted. Remove the pan from the oven and let the taco cups cool in the tin for a few minutes to set.

- Carefully remove each taco cup from the muffin tin and top with your favorite taco garnishes such as sour cream, diced tomatoes, guacamole, diced onion, or fresh cilantro. Serve warm.
