The November 2022 Bake Club Challenge Recipe is Pecan Pie!

This month you can choose between two Pecan Pie recipes: a classic Pecan Pie baked in a standard pie plate, or a Pecan Pie baked in a cast iron skillet. Try the pie without corn syrup for deeper flavor — use maple syrup or sorghum syrup instead.
Both recipes skip corn syrup, and they include brown sugar and a touch of sour cream for a creamy, rich filling that’s less cloying than a traditional pecan pie but much more flavorful.
How to Participate in the November Bake Club Challenge:
#1. Sign Up to Join the Bake Club
Sign up to receive a monthly email announcing the new recipe challenge and prize. Your name and email are required so we can contact you if you win. If you’ve signed up previously, you’re already enrolled and don’t need to sign up again.
#2. Bake This Month’s Challenge Recipe and Show It Off
Bake one of the Pecan Pie recipes and share a photo to enter. Post your picture on Instagram tagging @ofbatteranddough and use the hashtag #OfBatterAndDoughBakeClub, upload it to the Of Batter and Dough Facebook page, or email your photo to [email protected]. Photos submitted before December 1st will be entered to win the month’s prize.
