Skiers’ Breakfast Burrito from Beaumont Bakery: Wake-Up Fuel

On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m focusing mainly on newer spots, but I’ve included a few places I’ve visited before because they still feel fresh to the valley. One of those staples is Beaumont. Today I grabbed a breakfast burrito there and knew it deserved a spot on this list.

I appreciate Beaumont for several reasons, but convenience and freshness top the list. If you spend time in the mountains along the Wasatch Front, Beaumont is one of the best places to fuel up before an outing. I often pick up a breakfast burrito on my way up the canyon before a long ski day. The drive-through makes getting breakfast quick and easy without sacrificing quality. While I enjoy drive-through breakfast burritos from many Mexican spots, those can sometimes be greasy and leave me feeling off—especially if I’m heading into strenuous activity right after. Beaumont avoids that by keeping things balanced and fresh.

The Beaumont breakfast burrito is loaded with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn, and bell peppers. What really elevates it, though, is the sauce. A great breakfast burrito needs a standout sauce, and Beaumont’s creamy tomatillo esc dressing gives a bright, tangy finish that ties all the flavors together. That sauce turns a good burrito into one you’ll remember and want again.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers much more than a tasty breakfast burrito. Their coffee is well made, pastries are fresh, and the burrata salad is a standout if you want something lighter or for lunch. The space itself is inviting, with a pleasant patio and thoughtfully designed interior.

A quick practical note: popularity brings crowds. On weekends you’ll often find people gathered outside, and if you want to sit down, expect a wait. That said, grabbing pastries and coffee, or using the drive-through, remains fast and convenient. If you plan to linger on a busy weekend, allow extra time.

Overall, Beaumont is a reliable option when you want fresh, flavorful breakfast before heading out to recreate or when you simply want a satisfying start to the day. The combination of good ingredients, thoughtful flavors—especially that tomatillo esc dressing—and convenient service make it a top pick in the area.
