Candy Corn Pretzel Bark is a simple, festive Halloween treat made with creamy white chocolate, crunchy pretzels, and classic candy corn.
Try our Candy Corn Waffles for another seasonal idea—these waffles look like candy corn but taste like classic waffles.

While waiting in a doctor’s office recently, I picked up a tabloid that claimed candy corn is widely disliked. Curious, I asked parents at school and neighbors—and most admitted they don’t love it, calling it too sweet. But the kindergarteners were unanimous: candy corn is awesome. Clearly, it’s a divisive candy, but beloved by kids and many adults alike.
This Candy Corn Pretzel Bark is for the kids—and for anyone who loves the sweet-and-salty combination. It’s quick to make, kid-friendly, and perfect for Halloween parties or treats.

Candy Corn Bark Ingredients
Only three main ingredients are needed:
- Melting wafers or candy melts (white)
- Thin salted pretzel sticks, broken into pieces
- Candy corn
Tip: I prefer Ghirardelli White Melting Wafers for this bark. Regular white chocolate chips often contain stabilizers that prevent a smooth melt and can cause the finished bark to soften at room temperature.

Tips for Success
This recipe is very easy, but these tips help ensure the best texture and appearance:
- Use candy melts or melting wafers. White chocolate chips don’t melt or set the same way.
- Keep bowls and tools dry. Any moisture can cause chocolate to seize and become grainy.
- Spread the chocolate thinly. Aim for about 1/4-inch thickness and use an offset spatula for an even layer.
- Have mix-ins ready. Add candy corn and pretzel pieces immediately after stirring them into the melted chocolate so they set in place.
- Chill briefly. Refrigerate for 10–15 minutes to set the chocolate quickly and evenly.
- Wait to break the bark. Allow the bark to harden completely before breaking it into pieces so it snaps cleanly.

24 3-inch pieces
Ingredients
- 30 ounces Ghirardelli White Melting Wafers
- 2 cups thin salted pretzel sticks, broken into pieces
- 2 cups candy corn
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place white melting wafers in a medium, dry, microwave-safe bowl. Melt in the microwave for 45 seconds, then in 15-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until smooth and fully melted.
- Stir in the broken pretzel pieces and candy corn until evenly combined.
- Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet to about 1/4-inch thickness, using an offset spatula for an even layer.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.
- Once completely hardened, break the bark into pieces and serve.
- Enjoy!
Notes
1. Ghirardelli White Melting Wafers are recommended because they melt and set reliably. Regular white chocolate chips may not melt smoothly and can soften at room temperature once set.
2. Store the bark in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to one week, or refrigerate for longer storage.
